Casey Reynolds
 
Casey Reynolds was born and raised in Iowa. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering, and met his wife, Miranda, at Iowa State University. Since 2001 he has lived in Colorado working for a technology company in Westminster. His roles have included software and systems engineering and are currently in the area of Senior Systems Architect. 

Casey has 3 current and 1 former child at GVA-North, starting in 2012. He has volunteered in multiple capacities at GVA, formerly assisting with Odyssey of the Mind and currently as a member of the Board.  Casey and his family like to play with their dog, enjoy outdoor activities around Denver, and take advantage of the many outdoor concerts available in Colorado.

Michael DiMicco
 

Michael DiMicco was born and raised in Aurora, CO.  He received a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Colorado.  Michael has spent his professional career in Operations Leadership, working in HVAC, the airline industry, and most of his time in retail.  He has managed accounts payable/receivable and a Call Center for an HVAC company and Ramp Operations at United Airlines.  In retail, he has spent his career with Target, leading logistics, new store openings, and remodels.

Michael has one child currently enrolled at GVA North and another who will start in 2022.   Michael is also the Board representative for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.  Michael and his family enjoy outdoor activities, playing with their two dogs, and traveling.

John Hawthorne is a retired sociology professor living in Henderson. After earning his Ph.D. from Purdue University, he spent nearly forty years as a faculty member and administrator in private, faith-based universities. After retiring in May 2020, he and his wife moved to Colorado to be near family in 2021.
 
His granddaughter attends GVA North, and his other granddaughter will attend in a few years. He enjoys walking his two dogs, writing a SubStack newsletter, and working on a book project. He is an inveterate political junkie.

Yuhwen Seah
 
Yuhwen Seah was born and grew up in Malaysia and Singapore. She speaks three languages and loves GVA. She has an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She has three sons and has been a GVA parent since 2010. She served on the PTO and the School Accountability Committee before joining the board. She is a small business owner (AIM Mail Center in Broomfield) since 2010. She is very passionate about the success of GVA and brings her entrepreneurial experience to her position as a GVA-N board member. 
 
 
Joanna ItrubeDirector
Joanna Itrube
 
Joanna Iturbe was born and raised in Texas. She has a B.A. in public relations from Baylor University, a master's certification in the Psychology of Leadership from Cornell University, and 11 professional certifications. She has lived in Colorado since 2011 with her husband, three daughters, a dog, a bearded dragon, chickens, and saltwater fish, and a coral tank. She is an IT consultant with over 17 years of interdisciplinary experience serving higher education across strategic leadership, product ownership, and organizational change management.  Joanna also has experience serving on nonprofit boards and oversight committees for K-12 school districts.
 
The Iturbe family is a bilingual, bicultural family, with her husband originally being from Mexico City. Her daughter is in 4th grade in the Spanish village, and the family is excited for their toddler to join the GVA-N family in a few years.
 
Joanna enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, camping, and culinary adventures with her family.
Kristina StutlerDirector
Kristina Stutler
 
Kristina Stutler has been living in Colorado for the past six years. Before the family ‘retirement’ to Colorado, the Stutlers lived in Hawaii and California while Scott served in the USMC.  Throughout her career, Kristina has been in education for over 20 years and ran several businesses connected to adult education.   Kristina taught at various large universities and colleges in California, Hawaii, and Colorado.  She is a native Russian speaker and speaks just a bit of German and some Japanese. Kristina holds a Master’s in TESOL from the University of California San Diego, an M.A. in Linguistics and Russian from the University of Arizona, and two bachelor’s degrees in business and Political Science from the University of Arizona. 
 
She has been a GVA parent for six years and has previously served on the GVA-N board. Her daughters Emily (12) and Karina (9) attend Mandarin Village at GVAN. Kristina is passionate about the languages and the international component of GVA’s mission.
 
The Stutlers enjoy traveling and exploring other cultures. 
Jenny KetterlingDirector
Jenny Ketterling
 
Jenny Ketterling is originally from Littleton, CO but primarily grew up near Tampa, FL.  She attended the University of Florida and received her Bachelor of Science degree and a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology.   She later pursued an additional Master of Public Health degree.  She has taught for 17 years at various universities and community colleges and spent some time in educational administration.  She also works at a small non-profit organization coordinating health educational programs and events.  
 
Jenny has been a parent at GVA-N since the inception of the school.  Two of her children have graduated from GVA, and two are current students in the Spanish village.  Jenny and her family enjoy visiting national parks, camping, hiking, and spending time together.
