Parent/Teacher Phone Conferences-No School

Dear GVA Families,

As you may be aware, public health officials are advising organizations to consider postponing or rescheduling large events. We have elected to move our student-led conferences to phone conferences. Teachers will be calling parents at the time that they originally planned to meet in person. We advise emailing your teachers your preferred phone number for the conference as soon as possible. Report cards were given to students at the end of the day today for reference during your calls. Middle school teachers will be reaching out to parents of students that are receiving a failing grade or have other concerns. Middle school parents are welcome to email teachers if they would like to schedule a call.

This is being done to help protect parents and staff because it is an easy transition to make. The school will remain open during its normal schedule unless we are advised to do otherwise.

All other school programs (spring sports, Village Square) will continue as scheduled. For conferences only, we are increasing social distance where practical and non-impacting. Thank you for your support and flexibility.
