GVA North will be transitioning to a new online dismissal system called Secure Dismissal for the 2026–2027 school year. While the platform is changing, our dismissal procedures will remain the same. Staff will continue scanning QR codes as parents enter the parking lot, and students will be notified in their classrooms for pickup.
Due to the system update, all families will be issued new QR codes. These will be available for pickup at Meet the Teacher or will be sent home in your child’s backpack on the first day of school. Returning families will keep the same family number, only the QR codes themselves have changed.
In addition, Traffic Zone emails will be sent out on Tuesday, August 4th. These emails will include your assigned traffic zone along with detailed procedures to help ensure a smooth and efficient arrival and dismissal process as possible for all of us!
