At the popular, three day and two-night trip, students reinforced their learning in science through games, team-building, and real-world exercises. Students focused not only on the impacts of mining but also on food waste and how food gets to our tables. They had just started a curriculum on this topic and find it to be really engaging and something they wanted to do further research on.
