School Safety & Emergency Response Plan

The GVA-N Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is based on guidance provided by the I Love You Guys Foundation, a program for crisis response and post-crisis reunification that is used in more than 50,000 schools, districts, departments, agencies, organizations, and communities worldwide.

 

The procedures are created through the research-based best practices of school administrators, psychologists, public space safety experts, families, and first responders. GVA-N's ERP is currently considered an "exemplar" plan by the Colorado Charter School Institute and is reviewed annually. Parents are welcome to view a hard copy of the ERP in our administration offices.
