I am thrilled to share that Governor Jared Polis visited GVA North last week! A huge congratulations and thank you to our incredible students—Jaya Kramer, Jaylen Coello, Marcelo Peralta, and Valentina Rangel—who gave the Governor a tour of our building entirely in Spanish. Their efforts truly showcased the strength of our immersion program and all that it has to offer!
A special thank you to our Head of School, Nicole Wetzel, for her ongoing advocacy and promotion of GVA North to local and state organizations. Her efforts continue to bring important visitors like Governor Polis to our school, further highlighting the amazing work happening in our community.
Quarter Two Report Cards
Quarter 2 report cards were sent home last Friday in students' backpacks. We encourage you to take some time to review these with your child, celebrate their accomplishments, and set goals for the rest of the year. If your child’s report card has been misplaced or was not received, please reach out to their teacher, and we will ensure a new copy is printed and sent home.
Dress Like a Superhero Spirit Day – January 31st
Looking ahead, National School Choice Week begins on January 27th! This year, GVA North will be celebrating with the theme "Bilingual Brilliance is Our Superpower." We will be hosting a variety of superhero-themed activities throughout the week, culminating in Dress Like a Superhero Spirit Day on January 31st. We can’t wait to see all the creative and fun outfits!
English Spelling Bee
We have our winners! A huge congratulations to all the students who participated in the Schoolwide English Spelling Bee. It was a fantastic event, and our PUMAS proved they are master spellers!
