CMAS
What is CMAS?
The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) is a statewide series of tests that measure Colorado students' academic progress in English language arts, math, and science. Students take the CMAS test once a year, in April.
CMAS 2024 ELA Performance
- 3rd Grade - 41.3% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the district (36.9%) and nearly matching the state (42.1).
- 4th Grade - 43.9% of students met/exceeded expectations, surpassing state (42%) and district (35.2%).
- 5th Grade - 50% of students met/exceeded expectations, surpassing state (47.3%) and district (42.6%).
- 6th Grade - 60.5% of students met/exceeded expectations, exceeding state (44%) and district (40%).
- 7th Grade - 63.9% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the state average (46.3%) and nearly matching the district (47.4%).
CMAS 2024 Math Performance
- 3rd Grade - 741 Scale Score Average, outperforming the state (735) and the district (740)
- 4th Grade - 735 Scale Score Average, outperforming the state (731) and tying the district.
- 6th Grade - 28.4% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the district (23.1) and nearly matching the state (29.2%)
- 7th Grade - 32.8% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the state (29.8%) and the district (27.8%).
- 8th Grade - 34.5% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the state (32.5%) and the district (29.2%).
CMAS 2024 Science Performance
Only students in 5th and 8th grade take the Science CMAS test.
- 8th Grade - 36.4% of students met/exceeded expectations, outperforming the state (32.2%) and the district (31.3%).
- 5th Grade - 33.3% of students met/exceeded expectations in 2024 a huge jump from 27.2% of students who met/exceeded expectations in 2023!
